Who We Are

Zomi Music Uplift Society USA (ZOMUS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, promoting, and uplifting the identity, music, and culture of the Zomi people throughout the United States.

Established in 2008, ZOMUS has been at the forefront of Zomi cultural preservation efforts, working collaboratively with various Zomi organizations across the country to ensure that our rich musical heritage continues to thrive in the diaspora.

Our organization brings together musicians, cultural enthusiasts, educators, and community leaders who share a passion for Zomi music and traditions. Through concerts, workshops, educational programs, and community events, we strive to bridge the gap between generations and connect Zomi people with their cultural roots.

ZOMUS is more than just a music organization—we are a community dedicated to celebrating our shared heritage and creating opportunities for cultural expression and appreciation.
